Nzoia sugar FC suffered their third defeat of the season while
playing against Bandari FC at the Mbaraki sports ground on
Sunday 12th March 2023, dropping to fifth, seven points behind
league leaders Gor Mahia.
The Sugar men who have been on top of their game in the past
rounds lost 1-0 to the Dockers with Joe Waithira scoring the only
goal in the 68th minute of the game which was enough to sink Nzoia
sugar and seal three points for Bandari.
The millers have now lost three games while laying leagues leaders
Gor Mahia, Kenya Police and Bandari FC.
The millers will hope to return to winning ways when they host
Kenya police on Thursday of 16th March 2023 at Sudi Stadium.
The law enforcers sit 4th on the FKF Premier League table with 34
points after playing 18 matches while Nzoia sugar has 34 points
after playing 19 matches.
Nzoia sugar’s Head coach, Salim Babu speaking to the team after
the game urged the players to remain focused and consistent in
order to post good results. The tactician added that they must win
when we play Kenya police at Sudi stadium if they are to remain
in the title race.
Nzoia Sugar Football Club has now slumped to 5th position with
34 points on the FKF Premier table after the latest loss to Bandari.
Gor leads with 41 points.
