James Kibande has made a return to Nzoia Sugar FC following his brief spell with FKF Premier League outfit Kenya Police FC.
Kibande joined Police from the millers six months ago after his stellar performances with the Bungoma based outfit.
The attacker immediately returned and made his name in the scoresheet in his return debut match coming from the bench to win a penalty against table topping Gor Mahia FC, and netting the same to earn a point for the hosts in a 2-2 draw on 8th March 2023.
Kibande once again began from the bench against coast-based outfit Bandari FC, where Nzoia Sugar lost narrowly by a solitary goal.
The 25-year-old who adores Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo says he’s happy to be back where it all started and he’s optimistic he’ll put on some good energy to help the club achieve it’s targets by the end of the season.
“Im happy to be back, Nzoia has been my home and close to my heart since I’ve been here before and learned a lot from here and the club has also served as my parent helping me well in my career progression. I’m here to help the team achieve the best as the season goes by”, the lanky attacking midfielder told Ibrahim Adolwa.
He hopes of one day trading his trade at the Spanish top tier league La Liga Santander with Sevilla FC in future, despite his favorite English Premier League team being Manchester United.
The St Anthony’s Kitale alumnus is targeting to net at least 9 goals before the end of this season. He adores swimming and listening to good music.
